Why Use Our Transfer Station?
At Gainsborough Waste our transfer station stands above the competition. A few perks that you will want to take advantage of are:
- No lines. That's right - we know that drivers are used to waiting up to 30 minutes in line to dump their load, which only equals a loss of precious work time. We understand that your time is money, and at Gainsborough Waste we will help get you back out on the road as quickly as possible!
- It is a 100% concrete surface. You won't find a lot of dirt or mud here, so say goodbye to dirty trucks and dirty boots from dumping your construction waste.
- Easy payment process. We accept all major credit cards. When you partner that with no lines, you will get in and out quickly!
- Convenient locations.
- We are approved by the TCEQ as a Type V Disposal Site site for C&D dry waste (no food waste). We sort the following construction materials on-site:
- Scrap Metal
- Wood
- Cardboard (OCC)
- All clean wood is transferred to a mulch facility for recycling. The remaining material is taken to a Type IV landfill. Our efficient and repeatable process ensures that, on average, only 25 percent of the material ends up in a landfill.
- We also offer a Truck Scale! That’s right - you don’t have to go through multiple locations anymore to weigh your load when dropping it off! With this onsite scale, you can weigh your load being dropped off, pull the truck forward, dump it, and then reweigh to get the final bill.
- This onsite truck scale can also be used by general public trucks for a $10 fee.
- We are proud of our status as an approved transfer station because of our company’s commitment to sustainability.
