Dynamic Revenue Growth Leader
Gainsborough Waste/Texas Outhouse is currently looking for a dynamic leader to join a growing organization. We are seeking a proven leader in construction and industrial revenue growth in the Houston market who is looking for career growth opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be a professional with a college degree, a few years of business-to-business experience, and a strong competitive drive to be the best.
Job Duties:
- Selling commercial waste removal, disposal and recycling services
- Preparing bids, weekly call reports and calling new and existing customers
- Interacting with customers, non-profit, business associations and trade shows
- Gathering contract expiration dates, documenting existing customer concerns and working with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service
- Process and respond to all qualified bids/RFPs for potential new national clients
- Develop and maintain a target account list of Houston prospects
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparation and presentation of large-client sales presentations
- Maintain awareness of the activities of Gainsborough Waste / Texas Outhouse competitors
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from superiors
- Maintain professionalism towards internal and external clients
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by Gainsborough Waste/Texas Outhouse management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years outside sales
- B2B experience required
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Punctual
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Salesforce.com experience preferred
- Computer literate
- Goal oriented
- Reliable transportation
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Excellent customer service ability
- Solid waste industry experience or knowledge is a plus
